The 2021 Benjamin Leroux Bourgogne Blanc is a remarkable wine, predominantly sourced from Meursault, with contributions from the Hautes-Côtes behind Pernand-Vergelesses and select barrels of Chardonnay from Vosne. Aged in foudre and 600-litre barrels, this vintage showcases exceptional quality. On the nose, it presents mealy and citrussy aromas, while the palate offers crisp stone fruits and invigorating mineral freshness. The mouthfeel is juicy, pure, and cleansing, making it a delightful experience. Jasper Morris MW praises its excellent balance and line of concentration, highlighting perfectly judged ripeness that focuses on white fruit. With just a hint of oak toast, the fruit remains the star of the show. This wine is best enjoyed from 2022 to 2027.
