Fourteenth generation winemaker, Louis Barroul of Château de Saint Cosme fame, is one of the most highly respected winemakers in the Rhône Valley and is affectionately referred to by fellow winemakers of the region as the ‘Genius of Gigondas’. With great determination and flair, he showcases the great potential of the terroir with his outstanding cuvées from carefully selected vineyards.

A delicious blend of 50% Sauvignon Blanc and 50% Viognier, where expressive notes of lemon, grapefruit, boxwood, elderberry and mango lead to a vibrant and fresh palate full of harmony with a thirst quenching finish.

Micro-Cosme Blanc is an unconventional blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier. Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc are traditionally grown in different regions but Louis Barruol believes them to be complementary. The wine is vinified in stainless steel tanks.
