Description
Domaine du Changeon is an exciting new estate in Bourgueil, founded by David Ledoux. The property spans twelve hectares, with eleven dedicated to Cabernet Franc, and small plots of Sauvignon Blanc on limestone and clay. The domaine, formerly known as Bruno Dufeu, takes its name from the Changeon river, a historic waterway that powered Bourgueil's mills and now symbolises Ledoux’s fresh direction.
This wine presents typical aromas of fully ripe Sauvignon Blanc, with subtle notes of exotic fruit, passion fruit, and acacia notes. On the palate, it is beautifully balanced, with a harmonious roundness from ageing on fine lees that enhances the vibrant citrus flavours. The influence of clay-limestone soils gives Nomades a distinctive energy and freshness.
