Description

Pouilly-Fuissé is produced in the villages of Solutré and Vergisson, known for their steep plots within the iconic Rocks of Solutré and Vergisson. The estate's chalky soils are shallow with scree on the surface. Made from 100% Chardonnay, grapes are handpicked, pressed, and undergo low-temperature settling before fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks and barrels, with malolactic fermentation and an 8 to 9-month maturation on fine lees. This wine showcases a brilliant golden colour and a harmonious bouquet of delicate white flowers, offering a clean, mineral finish with elegance and character. Pouilly-Fuissé pairs beautifully with fish, white meats, scallops, and sweetbreads, making it an excellent choice for various culinary delights.
