I remember the older vintages of the Reserva Branco being heavy and a lot more oxidized than the current 2023 Reserva Branco, which has a fresh and clean nose of pears, herbs and pollen and a round palate that is not lacking oomph and power, with 14% alcohol but coming through as balanced and harmonious. The oak (part of the volume matured in barrel for six months) is only noticeable in the spicy finish. 364,000 bottles produced. It's a blend of Antão Vaz, Arinto and Roupeiro.
