Description

A bit more going on here than the Bourgogne Blanc. Textbook white Burgundy nose. A touch of reduction on this sample, and oak but mostly 'just' ripe white orchard fruits. There is a nice stony, straw and honey edge too. Good breadth on the palate. Good ripeness and nicely balanced. Lovely wine for drinking early.

Jasper Morris - Inside Burgundy October 2024 - "Pale with a lime streak. This is classically Montagny with the crushed shell note on the nose. Very intense overall, pure white fruit, just a light lemon rinse, stretching out nicely at the finish. Does just what it should. Drinking range: 2026 - 2029."
