Simply an amazing white wine. Manufactured by one of the most respected winemakers in the name of Soave. Pieropan winery has a history that dates back to 1890, is not a new name in Italian oenology, nevertheless has an eye toward the future as demonstrated by the recent changes in the company with the transformation of most of the vineyards in organic farming. The family Pieropan works with focus and dedication, selecting the best grapes, creating wines that stand out for their ability to reflect on tasting the identity of the terroir of origin, which is able to better express their full potential only through the wise man's work.
One of the greatest expressions of Garganega is the Soave Classico La Rocca, made from grapes of a particular and exclusive cru, behind the ancient Scaliger castle of Soave. Classic La Rocca aromas of almond essence and honey lead to an elegant and beautifully balanced palate, with notes of vanilla and almond kernel, ripe apricots and exotic fruit. The long finish has a light mineral edge.
