Description
Ridge Vineyards' Grenache Blanc from Paso Robles 2024 is a vibrant expression of this often-understated grape. Pouring a brilliant, pale gold, its youthful aroma immediately entices with notes of crisp green apple, juicy pear, and a subtle hint of white floral blossom, underpinned by a refreshing minerality.
The palate delivers a wonderfully clean and energetic experience. Bright citrus flavours, particularly lemon and a touch of grapefruit, mingle beautifully with a soft, almond-like texture. Its medium body is perfectly balanced by a lively acidity, making it incredibly refreshing and versatile.
The finish is long, dry, and clean, leaving a lingering, zesty fruitiness. This is an impeccably crafted white wine, showcasing the purity and elegance of Grenache Blanc from a renowned Californian producer, perfect for immediate enjoyment.

JAMES SUCKLING 94 points
Aromas of honeysuckle, nuts, orchard fruit, lemon confit and fresh herbs, with a slight saline edge. The palate is mid-weighted and textural, with bright acidity and a strong core of fruit. It will only get better with time in the bottle. Made from 85% grenache blanc, 12% picpoul and 3% roussanne. Drink or hold.

A lesser-spotted wine from one of California’s most celebrated estates, this Wine Society exclusive is an effortlessly charming, unforced but succulent and complex dry white aged in a mixture of oak, acacia, concrete and clay and offering poached pear and fresh white peach, subtle white flowers and coursing gentle acidity.
