Description
The 2020 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru is a stunning expression of Burgundy, earning 94 points from The Wine Advocate for its impressive depth and complexity. This wine reveals enticing aromas of crisp orchard fruits, white flowers, toasted nuts, and pastry cream, complemented by a light reduction. It is medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with vibrant acidity and a chalky, structuring extract that highlights its grandeur. Vinous awards it a score of 90-92 points, noting its attractive nose of white peach, crushed stone, and orange blossom, with a hint of white chocolate. The palate is well-balanced with a tangy opening and fine acidity, although the finish may not reach the same complexity as the house's top Premier Crus. Enjoy this captivating wine from 2025 to 2040.

The 2020 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru is impressive, unwinding in the glass with notes of crisp orchard fruit, white flowers, toasted nuts, pastry cream and light reduction. Medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with racy acids and chalky structuring extract, it's an impressive performance for the house's "regular" bottling from this grand cru.
