Boyer-Martenot continues to impress with increasingly refined wines, particularly their celebrated Meursaults, which effortlessly combine the traditional rich, buttery fruit profile with crisp acidity and balance. Run by Vincent Boyer, the fourth generation of the family, the domaine emphasizes organic practices, having eliminated herbicides since he took over in 2003. The estate offers a diverse range of village Meursault wines, including l’Ormeau, Charrons, and Narvaux, as well as premier crus like Charmes and Genevrières. Special attention is given to red wines, including a rare red Meursault from Les Pelles. Vincent's 2018 vinification methods, fermenting in barrels and aging in egg-shaped vats, retain freshness while promoting complexity. The En L'Ormeau selection, crafted from the oldest vines planted in 1924, offers rich depth and concentration, making it a must-try between 2026 and 2030.
