Meet Kasia—our passionate Head Wine Buyer and Educator! With over 16 years of experience, Kasia’s deep love for everything to do with terroir—the unique soil, climate, and environment where wine is grown—shines through in every aspect of her work. She’s a true expert having earned her WSET Diploma. She even won one of the top prizes awarded to the best students. Kasia’s warmth, knowledge, and infectious enthusiasm make her a standout figure, inspiring both her team and customers alike. Her passion for discovering exceptional wines rooted in their terroir ensures that Dunell’s always offers the finest, most authentic selections. She truly lives and breathes everything about wine!
What is your role?
Making sure our wine selection is filled with exciting bottles to delight both our regulars and those that are beginning their wine adventure.
Organising and hosting engaging and fun events, as well as supporting our trade customers.
What are some of your interests outside work?
I am a tireless traveller, I also love reading, swimming and yoga.
If you could be served any food/dish, what would it be?
Any aromatic and spicy Asian street food and particularly Vietnamese.
What do you like about working for Dunell’s?
It's dynamic and never boring plus we get to try so many exciting, unbelievable wines. I also love working with such a great team of people.
What is your most diverse achievement?
Skydive and deep diving, once upon a time.
Which are your most favoured wines?
There are too many to mention but Chardonnay, Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir are always at the top of my list.
