Description
Sauvignon Blanc grapes are well suited to the cool climate region of Elgin with vines achieving enhanced fruit flavours and good acidity. Mouth-filling flavours of citrus, lime sorbet and a core of ripe nectarine flesh with a long, pure line of pink grapefruit on the finish. In its youth, flavours are fresh and zesty with a broad mineral-textured base which over time will settle into a flinty and wet limestone character within two years. Tim Atkin MW wrote: "Lots of wine at the price."

Perfect to enjoy with salads...
Any salad with Goats cheese, the cheese is the predominant flavour, here you're best bet is to go for a Sauvignon such as this one made by Catherine Marshall. Its minerality and crispness cutting through the richness of the cheese. A raw, shaved asparagus salad is also a great food pairing with this Sauvignon - a very classic and hard to beat match.
