Joey Tensley’s homage on a Southern Rhône-style Grenache-Syrah-Mourvèdre blend is really impressive. This has such an elegant, open, pure nose, full of hedonistic blueberry ripeness and a lovely floral note of violets. The palate is fine and elegant with beautiful purity. It is very focused and precise with that brilliant Tensley mineral element coming though. There is a touch of gentle warmth but all is so well judged and the long length is lip-smackingly delicious.

The 2021 All Blocks is a blend of 80% Grenache, 19% Syrah and 1% Mourvedre. Medium to deep ruby-purple, it has inviting aromas of cranberries, cherries, tobacco, potpourri and savory spices. The medium-bodied palate is pleasantly chalky and super fresh, with floral fruits and a satisfying, spicy finish. Drink 2022 - 2027 - Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate.
