Described by Cathy as "a reflection of a meeting between art and wine," the striking label features original artwork by Peter van Straten, created right in her Tasting Room during his exhibition.

This phenomenal wine is exclusively reserved for Cathy’s Wine Club members - and luckily, that includes us! We are securing our allocation straight from her cellar.

:The focus is on the layered interplay between texture and vibrancy. Floral, herbs, dried pears and freshness from Roussanne supports the textural depth of the Grenache Blanc that swoop over the palate to the finish.

ABOUT THE NAME
:The collaboration with Cape Town artist extraordinaire, Peter van Straten, perfectly portrays the harmony between these two very different varieties. His painting on the label is entitled “Bursting into Birds”

:Our Rhone styled blend is the perfect canvas for fine dining pairing menus. The aromatic white is perfect with shellfish, fish in cream sauces, risotto, asparagus in lemon butter, goat cheese, grilled poultry. Serve slightly chilled.

:The wine is approachable in its youth with fresh, vibrant tension on the entry and opulent core of rich texture and may age well for up to 10 years due to its well - integrated acidity.
