Château Pédesclaux 2025 demonstrates the continued ascent of this 5ème Grand Cru Classé following its comprehensive modernisation. The blend is primarily Cabernet Sauvignon, with significant portions of Merlot and smaller amounts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. This vintage offers an aromatic profile of ripe black plums, redcurrants, and subtle hints of cedar and tobacco leaf.

On the palate, the wine is sleek and well-defined, benefiting from the precision of gravity-fed winemaking. The tannins are polished and supple, providing a balanced frame for the vibrant berry fruit. With its focus on purity and a refreshing, saline-flecked finish, the 2025 vintage captures the estate’s move towards a more elegant and approachable style while retaining the classic longevity expected of a Pauillac.
