One of Spain's most anticipated fine white wine releases. Awarded an 'Excellent' classification by the Rías Baixas Regulatory Council, the 2016 vintage was shaped by a cool, balanced growing season, an exceptionally healthy harvest and slow, even ripening. Warm days and cool nights produced Albariño of remarkable aromatic purity, vibrant natural acidity and outstanding concentration - the ideal foundations for one of Spain's greatest age-worthy white wines.

Produced exclusively from the estate's old-vine Los Bancales vineyard and matured for more than three years on its lees before extended bottle ageing, Selección de Añada continues to redefine what Albariño is capable of. Now, more than a decade after harvest, the 2016 displays the hallmark complexity that has made this wine one of Spain's benchmark white wines, with layers of graphite, baked orchard fruit, citrus peel and saline minerality balanced by extraordinary freshness, precision and length.

Tasting Notes
Bright pale straw with green highlights. The expressive nose combines graphite, wet stone and refined kerosene notes with baked apple, quince, ripe mango and dried apricot, underpinned by the distinctive minerality of the Salnés Valley's granitic soils. Rich and creamy yet beautifully poised, the palate balances remarkable concentration with vibrant acidity, leading to a long, saline finish with citrus peel, fresh balsamic energy and subtle toasted complexity. A wine of outstanding balance that will continue to evolve for many years.
