What an honest wine, with fresh leaves, paprika, chalk, tapenade and spices. All the freshness of carmenere is here. Medium-bodied with juicy fruit and tannins that are soft-grained and reactive. Delicious now. Why hold?

The 2023 Carménère Pétreo comes from parcels in El Huique, Colchagua. Marked by a clear pyrazine character—bell pepper and ash—it delivers the variety’s typical sucrosity, but also the juicy freshness that defines the house style. Fruity and agile, this is a lively take on Carménère.
