The Leonildo Pieropan Amarone "Vigna Monte Garzon" is sourced from a south-facing vineyard in Cellore d’Illasi. Producing this Amarone was a dream come true for the Pieropan family, representing a significant milestone in their winemaking history. The wine is a blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Croatina grapes, which undergo a traditional drying process to concentrate their natural flavours.
The result is a powerful, intensely perfumed wine. It is complex and rounded, featuring notes of dark cherry, plum, and spice, balanced by a freshness typical of high-altitude limestone soils. This expression has plenty of character and offers great ageing potential. With its structured profile and lengthy finish, it pairs perfectly with roasted meats, game, or mature cheeses.
