Description

Virgile Lignier, the third generation of Virgile’s 8.5 hectare domaine specialises in Morey St.Denis. This tiny single vineyard of 0.27ha produced only 105 cases of Les Chenevery.
Darker fruit on nose with aromas of slowly braised meat. Black cherry flavours with good spice that pick up weight, density and power on finish.
The Wine Advocate 91-93 points: "Crushed flowers, anise and minerals frame the exquisite finish. The soils are rich in limestone, which contributes much of the freshness."
