This cuvée is crafted primarily from Merlot, often supplemented with Cabernet Franc, drawing from a vineyard site boasting exceptionally old vines. The winemaking process is meticulous, involving careful vinification to preserve fruit integrity before judicious ageing in oak. In the glass, it reveals dense layers of black fruit, violet, and a distinct leafy character indicative of the Cabernet Franc.
