A benchmark of traditional Belgian lambic production, celebrating the pure essence of fruit and spontaneous fermentation. This beer is crafted by macerating whole, fresh sour cherries (pits and all) in young lambic for several months. Unlike many commercial fruit beers, it contains no added juices, syrups, or sugars, relying entirely on the natural character of the harvest.
The result is a stunning, deep ruby-red pour with a delicate pink-hued head. On the nose, it explodes with intense cherry aromas and earthy funk.
