Massimo Lunardon is a renowned Italian glass artist celebrated for his whimsical and vibrant creations in hand-blown borosilicate glass. Working from his studio in the Veneto region of Italy, Lunardon crafts an array of stunning tableware, including wine glasses, pitchers, bowls, and his extremely popular water and wine decanters. These decanters, much like his other pieces, often feature delightful and intricate details such as miniature glass animals, marine life, and colourful abstract shapes suspended within or wrapped around the glass. Because he uses borosilicate glass, a highly durable, thermal-shock-resistant material often used in laboratory equipment, his delicate-looking pieces are surprisingly resilient, lightweight, and functional for daily use.
