Description
The Biscardo Prosecco Rosé Spumante Millesimato 2024 comes from the Biscardo family’s Mabis label. Because it is a Millesimato, all the grapes are harvested from the single 2024 vintage, ensuring a real focus on the quality of that specific year. To make this style of Prosecco, the traditional Glera grape is blended with a touch of Pinot Noir. This addition gives the wine its pale pink colour and brings out soft red fruit notes.
When you pour a glass, you will notice aromas of wild strawberries, raspberries, and a hint of rose petal. It has a fine, steady stream of bubbles that leads to a crisp and dry finish.
We find this to be a highly versatile sparkling wine. It works perfectly on its own if you are looking for an aperitif before dinner. If you want to pair it with food, the bright acidity and subtle fruit flavours hold up well alongside light starters, fresh seafood, or a board of Italian cured meats and soft cheeses. It is a well-made, reliable Prosecco Rosé that easily suits a relaxed evening or a weekend gathering.
