Description

An exceptional organic artisan Cava, hailing from the high-altitude vineyards of Requena. As a Gran Reserva, this wine has undergone extensive lees ageing for over 60 months, resulting in a complex, sophisticated profile that rivals fine Champagne. Being Brut Nature, it is bottled without any added sugar, allowing the pure terroir and the Chardonnay grapes to speak for themselves. Riddling, disgorging, labeling, and boxing are all carried out manually.

The palate is wonderfully creamy yet bone-dry, featuring notes of toasted brioche, honeyed nuts, and ripe stone fruits, all balanced by a refined, persistent mousse. Pour carefully to preserve the bubbles. Ideal to accompany white fish, seafood, poultry, seafood stews, and roasted vegetables.

The ceramic label on Pago de Tharsys 'Cerámica' is a tribute to the deep-rooted cultural heritage of its home region, Utiel-Requena.

The winery is located in a region world-famous for its traditional ceramics and pottery. Each label is a handmade piece of fired clay, individually attached to the bottle. This serves two main purposes

:Honouring Tradition: It celebrates the local artisanal crafts of the Valencian community, linking the art of winemaking with the art of pottery.

Representing "Handmade" Quality: Just as the ceramic label is crafted by hand, the wine itself is an "Author Wine" (Vino de Autor). It signifies that the Cava is produced in small, artisanal quantities with a focus on manual craftsmanship rather than industrial production.
