Description

Volcán De Mi Tierra Tequila Reposado is a masterclass in balance, showcasing the rich diversity of Jalisco’s terroir. Unlike many spirits that focus on a single region, this expression blends 100% Blue Weber Agave from both the Highlands and the Lowlands. The Highland agave provides floral and fruity notes, while the Lowland agave adds an earthy, herbal complexity.

Aged for 135 days in a combination of American and European oak barrels, the liquid develops a beautiful golden hue and a smooth, robust character. The palate is greeted with layers of cooked agave, honey, and toasted nuts, finished with hints of dried fruit and tobacco. Smooth and persistent finish balancing the sweet oak and fruit elements with a clean, lingering agave pepper kick.

Best enjoyed at room temperature or over a single large-format ice cube to allow the complex barrel notes to slowly unfurl or as part of a cocktail. It makes an exceptional base for a Tequila Old Fashioned, where the honeyed wood notes naturally deepen, or a premium Paloma, where the charred citrus profile pairs perfectly with grapefruit

Created as a collaborative partnership between the Gallardo family and luxury conglomerate LVMH (Moët Hennessy), it is produced at NOM 1523 in Jalisco, Mexico.
