Description

Much-anticipated, Tormore 12 Year Old is part of the distillery's exciting core range - its first since Elixir Distillers became custodians of this under-known gem in 2022. Previously a distillery that saw most of its output go to blends, this marks an exciting change in Tormore's fortunes. Aged for 12 years largely in ex-bourbon casks to bring out notes of vanilla custard and peaches, blended with cream sherry and PX casks to add sweetness and nuttiness. Non-chill filtered and bottled at 46% abv.

Aromas of orchard fruits, peaches, custard and vanilla fill the glass leading to flavours of vanilla fudge, poached peaches, and cream on the palate, with a nutty and warming finish.
