Ichiro’s Malt Chichibu The London Edition 2026 is the ninth release of this iconic whisky released exclusively for the UK. A collectable series, it is incredibly sought after by whisky connoisseurs due to the quality of the spirit, its limited nature and striking label design. The new edition is the third, and final, in the ‘warrior series’ which started in 2024.

This whisky is a marriage of 16 casks of Japanese single malt whisky; all distilled at Chichibu. Two of these casks were wine casks sourced from New Zealand and California, while the remainder were a combination of first- and secondfill bourbon barrels, allowing Chichibu’s bright, fruit-forward spirit character to take centre stage. The result is a whisky that feels vibrant and elegant showcasing
both the distillery’s distinctive house style and the exceptional blending skill of Ichiro Akuto, Founder of Chichibu Distillery.

Ichiro’s Malt Chichibu The London Edition 2026 opens with notes of vanilla and honey along with whipped cream and touch of
grapefruit peel. On the palate there is a rich stone fruit character with apricots and peaches before finishing with sweet vanilla custard and a touch of cracked white pepper.
