Château Haut-Bages Libéral 2025, a 5ème Grand Cru Classé from Pauillac, is a brilliant reflection of Claire Villars-Lurton’s commitment to biodynamic viticulture. This vintage, offered as a pre-release in wooden cases of six, highlights the estate’s unique position bordering Château Latour. The 2025 expression is characterised by an intense purity, offering aromas of crushed blackberries, dark plums, and the classic Pauillac signature of graphite and cool earth.

On the palate, the wine displays remarkable energy and a vertical structure. The tannins are finely etched, providing a sophisticated frame for the concentrated black fruit. Due to the estate's eco-sensitive farming, there is a distinct vibrancy and sense of place in this bottling. It is a refined, age-worthy investment that balances power with a lift of refreshing acidity, promising a long life ahead.
