Agricola Punica Montessu is a beautiful Sardinian red born from a prestigious collaboration that includes the creators of Sassicaia. Classified as IGT Isola dei Nuraghi, this wine is a blend anchored by the indigenous Carignano grape, supported by Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Syrah. The result is a wine of exceptional Mediterranean character. In the glass it displays a deep ruby colour. The nose reveals an alluring bouquet of dark plum, wild blackberry and liquorice, accented by subtle hints of rosemary and cracked black pepper. The palate is generously proportioned and silky, offering layers of ripe dark fruit supported by smooth tannins and a vibrant, lingering finish.
