Description
Crafted by one of the Veneto’s most prestigious and historically significant families, the Allegrini Valpolicella 2025 is a masterclass in elegance and vibrant fruit. While the estate is world-renowned for its heavyweight Amarone, their classic Valpolicella perfectly captures the joyous, approachable side of the region's native grapes. This 2025 vintage is a traditional blend predominantly featuring Corvina Veronese, alongside Rondinella, specifically crafted to be enjoyed in its lively youth.
In the glass, it presents a brilliant, youthful ruby red colour. The bouquet is immediately inviting, offering fragrant and energetic aromas of fresh wild cherries, ripe raspberries, and a subtle dusting of black pepper and aromatic herbs.
On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, remarkably fresh, and wonderfully supple. Juicy red berry flavours take centre stage, supported by a bright, mouth-watering acidity and soft, silky tannins that make it effortlessly drinkable. Fermented in stainless steel to preserve its pure, unencumbered fruit character, this is a classic, terroir-driven expression of Valpolicella that finishes with a crisp, savoury lift. Incredibly versatile at the table, it is an ideal pairing for classic Italian charcuterie, tomato-based pasta dishes, artisanal pizza, or roasted poultry.
