Situated in the Bottelary Hills, the estate's unique terroir imparts a distinct elegance, structure, and complexity to this classic South African red.

On the nose, the 2021 Shiraz offers an inviting and complex bouquet of ripe blackberries, dark plums, and black cherries, seamlessly interwoven with the varietal's signature notes of crushed black pepper, cloves, and a subtle hint of earthy fynbos. As it breathes, layers of savoury spice, smoked meat, and a touch of vanilla from careful oak maturation emerge, adding remarkable depth.

The palate is beautifully structured, balancing power with finesse. It is medium to full-bodied, showcasing a core of concentrated dark fruit flavours supported by finely grained, velvety tannins and a vibrant, refreshing acidity. The finish is exceptionally long, dry, and elegantly spiced.
