Pago de Tharsys is widely recognised as one of the top producers of Cava but this delightful Bobal shows they are also able to make red wine to a high standard. You’ll find some baking spice – cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg - combined with damson, rose, and ripe juicy red berries. Serve this with roasted pork. Made from 100% old-vine Bobal. Aged for 12 months in French oak.
DECANTER 92 points - Drinking Window: 2026 - 2028 - Modern, dynamic interpretation of a Bobal Crianza in which the well-integrated wood provides a lovely savoury frame to the fruit at the core. Crunchy, vibrant cherry, plum and blackberry are topped with oregano, thyme, rosemary and lavender, with broody, refreshing wet soil and garrigues underneath. A pleasure to drink, with approachable complexity.
