Description

The Maçanita Vinhos project was created by characterful siblings, Joana and António Maçanita, in the Douro back in 2011. The estate carries out a highly selective manual harvest in 20 kg crates. The bunches are meticulously sorted on a table before the grapes are gently crushed and transferred to the fermentation vats without the use of pumps. Fermentation takes place spontaneously at 12 °C, preserving the full aromatic potential of the wine.

This wine displays a delicate light‑pink colour with subtle cherry hues and opens with an intense nose dominated by ripe strawberry aromas. On the palate, it is unexpectedly textured yet refreshingly vibrant, offering a lively and appealing balance throughout.
