It jumps out of the glass with cheerful aromas of crisp pear, white peach, and a touch of elderflower. To taste, it’s delightfully fresh and completely unpretentious. You get a lovely burst of juicy orchard fruit, backed up by a subtle stony edge from those volcanic soils. It finishes perfectly dry and crisp, leaving a classic Italian hint of bitter almond at the very end. It’s a beautifully simple, refreshing wine that’s dangerously easy to pour a second glass of.
