A lovely wine showcasing the Fiano grape, crafted by Raffaele Pagano in the high-altitude village of Lapio. This producer is celebrated for an artisanal, non-conformist approach that highlights the incredible ageing potential of Campania’s white wines. The 2023 vintage displays remarkable mineral tension and structural depth, shaped by the region’s volcanic and calcareous soils.
The nose offers an intense bouquet of white flowers, lemon peel, and the smoky, flinty notes characteristic of the Lapio terroir. On the palate, the wine is dense and vibrant, featuring a waxy texture balanced by sharp acidity and flavours of golden apple and toasted hazelnuts. This Riserva is built for longevity, evolving into complex honeyed and saline notes over time.
