Originally from Picardy, he had a strong desire to travel the world and so he set off to hone his savoir-faire in Champagne and Bordeaux before exploring the four corners of the Earth. He settled in the Rhône Valley in 1996, after falling in love with this region, and has since earned himself a solid reputation for his expertise.
Xavier Vignon’s wines offer the most authentic reflection of the southern Rhône Valley. Whether Village or Cru, each wine reflects a unique encounter between a soil and a climate. In terms of vinification and ageing, keeping interventions to the strict minimum is the motto for their cellar masters.
This vintage shines with a brilliant pale gold hue. Its inviting nose offers an opulent and complex bouquet, revealing vibrant notes of white peach, ripe pear, and honeysuckle, intertwined with subtle hints of toasted almond and wet stone.
On the palate, it perfectly balances richness with elegant freshness. The luxurious, textured mouthfeel showcases deep stone fruit flavours and delicate floral undertones, lifted by a bright acidity that brings tension to the wine.
