WSET Level 2 Award in Wine is a 3-day intensive course held in our private boardroom at Beaumont, running from Monday 15th March to Wednesday 17th March 2027.

Róisín Kennedy, Senior Wine Educator at Liberty Wine Academy (named Wine Educator of the Year for the fifth time in a row by International Wine Challenge), will lead the course.

WSET Level 2 (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) is the internationally recognised course that is followed by those who would like to learn more about wine as well as those entering the wine and hospitality industry. In a fun and informative way, you will learn about tasting techniques to help you build tasting experience, pairing wine and food, still and sparkling wine production, the most popular wine regions in the world, and you will taste a broad selection of at least 40 wines over the 3 days. Level 2 can be comfortably achieved by those with little or no previous wine knowledge.

We will start every day at 9.45am. Each session includes a delicious lunch and afternoon cake and refreshments before we resume teaching. The course will finish each day by 4.30pm.

Roisin will cover the full Level 2 syllabus, but please note there will be additional revision exercises you will be required to complete at home after each course day to ensure you are ready to sit the examination on the last day in the afternoon (a 50-question multiple-choice paper).

The course cost covers WSET examination fees, WSET course materials, WSET accredited tuition, all the equipment and tasting samples you need, as well as food and drinks. Course materials will be available for you to collect in advance, and we recommend that you read them thoroughly before starting the course.
