"Over the past forty years, Château Cantemerle has expanded from 20 to 90 hectares, yet the estate’s identity has always been shaped by determination. In 1855, Caroline de Villeneuve personally travelled to the Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce to restore the château’s rightful place in the classification – a defining moment in the estate’s history.

Today, under the direction of Laure Canu, meticulous attention to detail in both vineyard and cellar continues to sharpen the estate’s profile. After three years of construction, the new winery was delivered just in time for the 2025 vintage. The result is a notably precise and structured Cantemerle, showing a level of refinement and definition beyond recent vintages. Classical in style yet increasingly polished, the wine reflects the steady upward trajectory the estate has been building over the past decade." - Lucie Richard
