Originally from Picardy, he had a strong desire to travel the world and so he set off to hone his savoir-faire in Champagne and Bordeaux before exploring the four corners of the Earth. He settled in the Rhône Valley in 1996, after falling in love with this region, and has since earned himself a solid reputation for his expertise.

Xavier Vignon’s wines offer the most authentic reflection of the southern Rhône Valley. Whether Village or Cru, each wine reflects a unique encounter between a soil and a climate. In terms of vinification and ageing, keeping interventions to the strict minimum is the motto for their cellar masters.

A superb expression of this prestigious Southern Rhône cru, showcasing the winemaker's mastery of terroir. Pouring a deep ruby hue, the wine offers an inviting and complex bouquet. The fragrant nose bursts with intense aromas of ripe blackberry, dark plum, and baked cherry, beautifully layered with classic notes of wild garrigue, liquorice, and warming baking spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and generous, delivering a luxurious texture supported by velvety tannins. Rich dark fruit flavours are perfectly balanced by a surprisingly vibrant freshness, leading into a long, spicy, and satisfying finish. This robust yet elegant red is a brilliant companion to hearty winter beef stews, roasted game, or rich, mature hard cheeses. 80% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah.
