Beak Brewery has established itself as a cornerstone of the UK craft scene, renowned for producing some of the most sought after hazy ales from its Lewes base. Patina is their flagship IPA, a powerful 6.5% ABV creation dry hopped with a vibrant combination of Citra and Motueka. The nose explodes with an inviting bouquet of fresh lime zest, ripe mango, and zesty lemon.
On the palate, a signature pillowy mouthfeel is provided by a generous addition of oats and wheat, cradling intense flavours of tropical stone fruit and bright citrus. Bitterness remains remarkably restrained, allowing the lush hop saturation to shine through to a smooth finish. This is a masterclass in modern IPA brewing, prioritising texture and aromatic depth.
