The Waterford Estate 'Single Vineyard' Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 originates from the Blaauwklippen Valley in the Stellenbosch region of South Africa. The fruit is selected from specific vineyard blocks with distinct soil profiles, primarily consisting of loamy gravel over decomposed granite. These north-facing slopes receive optimal sun exposure, which is essential for achieving full phenolic ripeness in this variety.

The winemaking process focuses on retaining varietal purity and site specificity. The grapes undergo traditional fermentation, followed by maturation in French oak barrels.
